I am excited and proud to announce our new user friendly website with all the resources you need to make your therapy experience easy, stress-free, and educational from start to finish. The new website has everything you need to know about what Learning in Motion specializes in including Occupational Therapy evaluation, consultation, and treatment. We also have information about parent consultations, school observations, parent classes, and physical therapy screening and treatment. Our 6-week Parent Sensory classes are starting Monday, February 3rd, 2020. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to gain more tools for your parenting toolbox. Our new website will also provide information you need to know about who makes up Learning in Motion including therapists Tara MacKenzie, OTR, SIPT and Kristin Taylor, MOTR, SIPT. Our mission statement, and our specialties include working with children ages 0-12 who have struggles in the areas of sensory integration, motor development, attention, behavior, emotional regulation, handwriting (and pre-writing skills), and executive function. Learning in Motion’s new website will provide parents with resources including referral sources, great reads to learn more about your child, and guide you to websites to find what you need in the sensory world! Learning in Motion’s mission statement is to approach each child and family with a fresh and whole child approach, We take into consideration not only a child’s physical development but also their social emotional development along with their learning styles and unique personalities. We approach each child and their family as a whole unit.
